Espresso machine: steam attachment falling off into milk!?

Hi Guys,
I have a Delonghi Magnifica 3300? 3500? I am getting so frustrated at the moment. After 6 months of using it without fault, all of the sudden the steam wand attachment pop off whilst im frother the milk. Milk goes everywhere! It burns my fingers! I have cleaned thoroughly and I just cant find what the problem is. Has anybody had an issue like this before? Thanks heaps =)

Well I’d be writing to the company. If you burned your fingers it might be a case of “it could have been much worse…” sounds like you were lucky. Steam is really dangerous.

And the spilt milk that you would have been crying over is just another thing to add to the whole nasty scenario.

Yep, I’d definitely write to the company, tell them you want a replacement, or your money back, because that just shouldn’t happen.
