Kitchenaid Heavy Duty Mixer
Kitchenaid Heavy Duty Mixer

Is the Kitchenaid Artisan 325 watt mixer good enough?
I mean for everyday baking. I’m no pastry chef, and I just make cookies or banana bread on weekends, so there’s no heavy bread mixing going on. The occasional cake maybe, but even that isn’t heavy duty
Everyone seems to suggest upgrading to the Pro series but do I really need that much power?
i have a basic kitchen aid mixer with a 4.5 quart bowl. it works fine and I even use it for a cake business. Kitchen aids are found in most pastry kitchens and are used when small batches are needed. Kitchen aid and Hobart are the same company and the quality is excellent.
