NO BAKE recipes for KitchenAid mixer?
I have a KitchenAid mixer that I got for Christmas last year. I honestly haven’t used it much and I would really like to. Unfortunately, out oven broke 4 months ago and we don’t have money to fix it. Does anyone know any recipes I can make that don’t require baking? Or at least point me to a website where they know has recipes that don’t require an oven? I have no attachments (ie pasta maker, ice cream maker, etc) so just ones that fit the simple mixer.
Thanks
These are 2 of my favorites! You won’t need any special attachments.
No-Bake Orange Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
3 eight ounce packages of cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup orange juice
12 ounce container of whipped topping, thawed
1 tablespoon of grated orange peel
1 (9 inch) ready to use graham cracker crust
Place gelatin and juice in a small saucepan and stir occasionally over low heat until the gelatin is dissolved.
With an electric mixer on medium speed, blend the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and well blended.
Add the gelatin mixture to the cream cheese gradually and beat well after each addition. Allow to thicken for about half an hour in the refrigerator.
After it has thickened, gently fold the whipped topping and orange peel into the mixture and pour into the crust. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
