I just recently purchased this coffeemaker. I am not a connoisseur of fine coffee – I always joke that I put a little coffee in my milk and sugar. However, I noticed right away that the coffee is much hotter than my old coffeemaker made. I also love the larger 14 cup pot. I can’t say yet how the coffeemaker will hold up over time, but I am counting on at least 3 years, as that is the warranty. My philosophy in the past has been that I would rather pay $30 for a coffeemaker and replace it every year than to buy an expensive pot, but decided that I would go another direction this time. Bottom line, I love the way it looks and I am optimistic this one will last a while.

I’ve purchased many coffeemakers in the past and have never been really satisfied with the flavor of the coffee. The one previous to my buying the Cuisinart DCC-2600, was a 12 cup coffeemaker that after filling with water would only brew 10 cups of coffee. Needless to say the coffee was terrible! But not any more. This DCC-2600 is by far the best coffeemaker by far that I have ever had. It makes the best tasting brew that I have waited for. If your fussy about how your coffee is brewed,consider the Cuisinart DCC-2600. You can modify the settings to your own tastes. Even the plate warner is adjustible so you can regulate the temperature so the coffee won’t have that burnt tast

Good hot coffee!
This is a great coffee machine! It meets all expectations.However,I never spent so much money on a coffee pot. It is nice to see this model on television programs when you see a kitchen. You get what you pay for, the Mister coffee model I bought at Wal-Mart didn’t last a year and G.E is recalling 900 hundred thousand coffee pots sold to Wal-mart. The Cuisinart DCC-2600 has a great 3-year warranty, hopefully I will never need to use it.

My 20 yr old krups just quit on me and I need a new coffee maker. I want a visible water window, permanent filter, auto shut off, brew pause, and something with an excellent review. I bought this coffee machine and from the reviews this is a good choice for me.

Great coffee maker!
So far, so good. Only complaints:
1)The cover doesn’t flip open like my old Hamilton Beach. This is minor and will take getting used to.
2)The cord is very short and barely makes it to my outlet. I’m not sure how other brands rate, but I would have liked a little longer reach.
All other reviews are right on – great tasting coffee, hot coffee that doesn’t taste burnt after an hour or so, easy to read water level on the side. The coffee pot is also not too tall so it fits perfectly under the counter.
Definetly recommend this coffee maker!

This is a great coffee maker! The carafe really is no spill. The best part is that on the weekends my husband and I aren’t fighting for the last cup of coffee because of the extra 2 cups (12 cup vs. 14 cup)! The coffee tastes better than with our old coffee maker. I would recommend this product!!

A+++ Excellent coffee maker…there is definite truth in you get what you pay for. Before this Cuisinart, I owned a Gevalia and other low end coffee makers. The pots dripped when you poured them too fast, and they were super slow. This Cuisinart is coffee drinkers gift from God. It’s carafe is comfortable,and doesn’t drip when your pouring fast or slow. The unit is stylish. It brews coffee quickly, and I love the gold tone filter. Unlike some reviews of previous models, this gold tone filter works great..I’ve yet to find any grounds in the bottom of the pot. This coffee maker gets an A+++. I highly recommend it.

Great coffee maker
This was a little more than we’ve paid for a coffee maker in the past, but so far it’s worth it. I like the options that it gives to customize things like brew strength and how hot the warming pad is. Our last coffee maker was a thermal carafe and I miss that, because I hate how later cups in the morning can taste burnt if the heating pad is cooking the coffee. Set on low, the coffee stays hot, but doesn’t cook. Bottom line and most important though: it makes a great cup of coffee!
