Harness Your Inner Faith
A recipe for faith:
A dollop of belief in oneself,
a sprinkling of love,
a tablespoon of desire,
all mixed together with a cup of affirmation for ones goal of attainment.
Finely mix the belief in oneself with the sprinkling of love leave to set.
Mix in a tablespoon of desire, and poor in positive consistent affirmation for ones goal of attainment.
Repeat mixture for bigger and best results.
Sometimes we are so busy being busy that we actually have led ourselves into believing that we must do it all ourselves. When it is anything but the truth, you do not have to struggle, and be locked and loaded into the busyness of the world. Don’t fall pray to syndrome b (busyness). I believe you must work a certain amount to get your desired outcome, but by all means you don’t need to do it all yourself and you don’t need to do it all now.
If you are known to have syndrome b then maybe you need to re-evaluate your level of faith.
So what is your biggest desire in life right now?
And what’s driving you to reach that desire?
But more importantly how much faith do you have in yourself that you will reach your ultimate desire?
Sometimes we get caught up, in what seems to be obviously important in the now only to fall short of doing what is truly important for the future then we have to catch up and get over loaded with more commitments and more responsibilities because we failed to prioritize and delegate correctly. We think that we must do it all ourselves and forget that we can cast some things to others or collaborate with others in completing a task. We think without hard, hard work by ourselves it wont get done.
But it will, if only we have faith.
So what does faith stand for?
I believe faith can be broken down into a practical acronym that we can implement immedietly:
F –uture vision
When we have a future vision in our mind, we know what we want with clarity and precise focus. Maybe we want to be the greatest tennis player, or own and run a profitable small business, or maybe we just want to have happy and committed relationships. What ever we for see as our future vision is what we will search for in our life. If we have a jigsaw puzzle and we are trying to fit the pieces back together we would not go of looking to find other pieces from other puzzles we would want to use the pieces from our own puzzle to complete it. The same is with our vision, if we know what we want from ourselves and our lives for the future then we will search for the pieces of our puzzle that will fit with our vision and also on a higher level the universe will send us pieces that fit our puzzle. If we do not have a future vision then we will search through all of the puzzles to find that no pieces fit, and if we try and make them fit then ultimately the picture makes no sense and our puzzle well…remains a puzzle. When we don’t have that vision, that clarity, that guidance that can take us forward we become like the puzzle, with plenty of pieces to choose from but nothing ever working for us or moving us toward a better picture.
Have a future vision for 20 years from now, 10 years, 5 years, 5 days and today. Live with a clear picture of how you want your life to look.
A – ction. The universe loves action, not just any action but the action that has been taken to excel you toward your vision. I think action has slightly been taken for granted for we forget that we need to slow down and also have a break from taking so much action. Just like nature works in cycles so must we. We must work with the seasons and the cycles of our lives, there will be times when you are planting the seeds, nurturing your crops and taking plenty of action to get the harvest ready by summer. Then there will be seasons when you curl up, with little or no action and just reflect study, learn.
The world is a cyclical world, nature works in seasons, we are a part of this universe and we must follow this proven path for best results. We can not expect ourselves to be fully functioning happy, healthy individuals if we don’t take time out to rest and recoup our energy. Take action, but only if it is needed.
I – magination. Everyday you use your imagination. For good or bad. Will my wife leave me? Will my kids pass their exams? Will I make the sale? Everyday we use our imagination to conceive our outcomes. Whether we do it consciously or unconsciously. Why not imagine that you’ve got what you desire? Why not imagine yourself as the person you wish to become? You already have your future vision, you know what you want. Hold this picture clearly in your mind and leave the details up to your imagination to take care of. It’s going to be working throughout the day for you why not take conscious control of it and use it to work in your favor. If the greatest golfers, tennis players and athletes use mental picturing why don’t you? (And the great part is it doesn’t cost money!)
T – hought. Thought shapes character, and your character shapes your life.
How much are your thoughts worth? Believe me, they are priceless.
What we think is truly our cause to most if not everything we have in our lives.
Where are your thoughts taking you?
Are they logical or scattered?
Are they focused and clear or cluttered and messy?
Your life will be directly proportional to how well you direct your thoughts.
Everyday focus your thoughts even if it is for just 30 minutes a day, choose consciously what you want to focus on and cast of any doubt. If your life needs improvement in your job because your sales are slipping set aside 30 minutes to focus on how you can triumph and become a top sales person. Although 30 minutes may not seem like much its actually a tremendous amount because what this does is it starts a ripple effect and soon after having worked your brain on how to think properly it will begin to do so in other situations in your life. Your thoughts work similar to your muscles, use them or loose them!
H – eart. Having faith means having heart. How many of us have in sometime been hurt, wounded, crushed, or had hearts broken so we shut our doors and bolted them shut with our heart never to be opened up or given to anyone or anything ever again. Having heart means having compassion and love for ourselves while we are on our individual paths to success but I believe having heart more importantly means giving compassion and love for other human beings. Receiving your future vision is outstanding, but receiving it and sharing it with others is life changing. Be the love that the world is longing to see. When you bring heart into what you are doing faith will inevitably follow.
Future vision
Action
Imagination
Thought
Heart
Faith will take you over the hurdles lodged on your path, take you away from syndrome b, and excel you faster to your desired outcome than anything else I know.
To have faith in oneself and ones abilities is the greatest gift you can possibly give yourself and another human being.
Give yourself that gift, the gift of faith.
