Nespresso C100 Automatic Espresso Machine: A Great Addition For Your Home

Recently we visited my brother-in-law and he had a new Nespresso machine which uses individual single-serve coffee capsules to brew different types of coffee flavors. Wow, not only were we awed by the coffee it made, but also the ease of use and maintenance. So we decided to make this our first review on our site.

The Nespresso C100 requires no special skills and is quite easy to use – all you need to do is lift the lever on top of the machine and place a single-serve coffee capsule. Check that there’s sufficient water in the tank, place a cup under the spout and make your choice of either espresso or regular coffee with a press on a button. In an instant, you got yourself a perfectly brewed cup of coffee! Determining which coffee type or flavor to have is actually a harder task to do.

Now if you want a latte or cappuccino, you simply need to make an additional step using the milk frother to either froth or heat the milk with the press of one button in less than a minute or so. There are corresponding indicators that suggest how much milk to put in once you find the coffee cup size that you like best.

Here are the impressive features of the Nespresso C100-US-AERO Essenza Automatic Single Serve Espresso Machine (with Aeroccino Milk Frother):

• ThermoBlock heating system to assure water is heated to the ideal extraction temperature.
• 19-bar bump exerts high pressure for perfect extraction of both body and coffee aroma for a smooth crema.
• Button selection for the amount of coffee you want in your cup – 40 ml for espresso or 110 ml for long.
• Removable 41-ounce water tank that is easy to refill.
• Auto-ejects used capsules into a receptable that holds up to 14 capsules.
• It only uses capsules and Nespresso has a range of premium coffee blends, including decaffeinated. Your initial purchase comes with 12 assorted capsules to test out so you will know what blends to reorder.
• It is compact with a sleek and modern black or titanium design.
• Measures 11.5″ x 6.6″ x 10″ with maximum power comsumption of 1200 watts.

The Nespresso Aeroccino Milk Frother is included with the espresso machine:

• It is cordless with an automatic shut-off.
• It can froth 4-1/2 ounces or heat up to 8-1/2 ounces of milk and has dosage markers inside the jug.
• Easily froths milk in less than a minute.
• The handle stays cool and it has a drip-free spout.
• It measures 4 by 4 by 6-2/3 inches (not including the handle).

I have to admit that lattes had always been my top choice but after experimenting with the different, easy-to-prepare nespresso capsules, espresso has become my new favorite.
